Allgemeine Informationen zum EBCP
Während der diesjährigen Herbstsitzung des EBCP waren für Deutschland anwesend:
Frank Merkle (Generalsekretär des Boards), Carole Hamilton (Mitglied des akademischen
Komitees), Heinz Weitkemper (Mitglied des Akkreditierungskomitees) und Adrian
Bauer (Delegierter für Deutschland).
Akkreditierungkomitee: Akkreditierung
der Ausbildungszentren
Im fortlaufenden Prozess der Reakkreditierung
wurde die AfK Berlin in Form einer Site Visit (Audit) durch Mitglieder der EBCP
besucht und für weitere 5 Jahre zugelassen. Zur Site Visit anwesend waren Prof.
Alexander Whaba (Norwegen, Chairman EBCP), Prof. Jouko Jalonen (Finnland, Representative
of EACTA) und Adrian Bauer als Delegierter für Deutschland.
Zertifizierung
Europaweit wurden 37 Anträge auf Zulassung zur Prüfung gestellt. Weitere 8 Anträge
gingen von Kandidaten aus den harmonisierten Programmen ein. Die schriftliche
Prüfung fand im letzten Jahr am 20.11.2010 statt. Die praktische und mündliche
Prüfung kann wahlweise vor oder nach der schriftlichen Prüfung durchgeführt werden.
Rezertifizierung 2011
In diesem Jahr müssen sich alle Kollegen
mit dem Rezertifizierungszeitraum 2009/2010/2011 rezertifizieren. Bitte überprüfen
Sie auf Ihrer Rezertifikationskarte die Dauer Ihrer Zulassung und senden Sie Ihre
vollständigen Unterlagen an die untenstehende Adresse. Alle wichtigen Informationen
finden Sie auch auf dieser Website.
Rezertifizierung nach langer Pause
Alle Nachweise über praktische und theoretische Arbeit müssen aufgearbeitet
und eingesendet werden. Dies gilt für alle verpassten Zeiträume gleichermaßen.
Wenn zum Beispiel die letzte Rezertifikation bis 2003 gültig war, dann müssen
die Jahre 2004–2006 und 2007–2009 nachgewiesen werden. Der dann gültige neue Rezertifizierungszeitraum
gilt von 2010–2012.

Fort- und Weiterbildung: Nachweise von letzter Zertifizierung bis 3 Jahre später
3. und dann alle folgenden 3-Jahres- Intervalle
Um das Gleichbehandlungsprinzip gegenüber allen Kollegen und Kolleginnen,
die sich stetig rezertifiziert haben, zu wahren, muss auch hier die gesamte Gebühr
für die relevanten Zeiträume bezahlt werden (d.h. für alle offenen 3-Jahres-Intervalle
bis 2010 jeweils 48,00 €).

Konferenz für Bildung und Ausbildung; ECoPEaT, Conference for Education and Training:
Die kostenlose Tagung am Wochenende vor dem EACTS-Kongress fand turnusmäßig wieder
in Genf statt. Das Symposium hat seine Rolle als wichtigste Plattform zum Thema
Perfusion in Europa weiter ausgebaut. Dies wurde wieder eindrucksvoll durch die
hohe Teilnehmerzahl bestätigt. Das Abstractbook
lässt sich herunterladen. Die nächste ECoPEaT-Tagung findet am 1.10.2011 in Lissabon/Portugal
statt. Abstract submission deadline: noch offen). EACTS-Kongress: 1.–5.10.2011

Neuigkeiten vom EBCP
Der zu installierende Upgrade-Kurs zum nachträglichen
Erhalt des ECCP wurde ein weiteres Mal während der Sitzung der Subcommittees des
EBCP vorgestellt. Innerhalb dieser Sitzung wurde diskutiert, ob das deutsche Modell
als Pilotprojekt für Europa dienen kann. Auch andere Länder Europas haben ähnlich
gelagerte Probleme mit der Berufsanerkennung und zeigen Interesse an einem möglichen
deutschen Modell. Sollte es in Zukunft zu einer länderübergreifenden Lösung kommen,
wäre eine Erweiterung auf ganz Europa im Rahmen einer europäischen Binnenmarkt-
Richtlinie denkbar.

Dear
colleagues, the European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (EBCP) welcomes you
to join in and support the efforts to improve and to harmonize Perfusion Education
and Training throughout Europe. Since the foundation of EBCP in 1991, the processes
of the accreditation of Perfusion Education and Training Programmes and the certification
of Cardiovascular Perfusionists have been very successfully implemented. Virtually
every national society or association for Cardiovascular Perfusionists has delegates
to EBCP and takes part in the above mentioned programmes. It is the national organizations
that form the base for successful training of new graduates. EBCP is providing
a tool to establish a framework for European cooperation and for facilitating
the free movement of Cardiovascular Perfusionists within Europe. Together with
our partnering organizations, namely the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic
Surgery (EACTS) and the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologists
(EACTA), good progress has been made in establishing a platform for the exchange
of new ideas. The result of this progress can be witnessed at the annual Perfusion
Education Conferences. We would like to welcome all interested European Cardiovascular
Perfusionists to get involved and join our efforts.

Dear
colleagues At the EBCP board meeting in Geneva in September 2007, I was elected
chairman of the board. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your
trust and support. It is not an easy task to succeed Professor Dietrich Birnbaum
in this position. I would like to thank him for his relentless commitment to the
EBCP and for introducing me to the work of the board. My current position is that
of a consultant and professor in cardio-thoracic surgery at the Trondheim University
Hospital in Norway. I have had and still have a strong scientific interest in
different aspects of perfusion. Since its foundation in 1991, the EBCP has come
a long way in establishing accreditation of perfusion education and certification
of Perfusionists in Europe. In recent years new member countries have joined the
European Union and even more countries seek a closer collaboration with European
institutions. It is my belief that the dialogue with these countries will represent
an important part of the work of the board in the near future. We have to address
these issues with an open mind and work towards an exchange of ideas and knowledge.
I am looking forward to serve the board to achieve its goals and hope that my
efforts will contribute to a continuation of previous successes.
